Macro Photography

Macro photography is considered tough but at the same time it is very satisfying.  The complex and extremely beautiful body of the insects makes you wonder about the nature's creation. Here are some photographs taken by me.

Jewel Bug

These are called Jewel bug due to brilliant colors. Shot with Nikon D500 and Nikkor 105mm Micro lens.

Tree Hopper

Tree hoppers are tiny sap feeding insects who dispose off excess honey dew attracting ants. Shot with Nikon D500 and Nikkor 105mm Micro lens.

Normally seen during the monsoon, It is a beautiful specie of Grasshopper. Shot using Nikon D500 and Nikkor 105mm lens,

Plant hopper

About 3200  species of Tree hopper exist. Shot using Nikon D500 and Nikkor 105mm lens,

Striped  Lynx spider.

Lynx spider is a beneficial spider that feeds on the insects normally comes under the pest category and harm the agriculture. 

Beetle

A tiny and colorful beetle feeding on a flower. 

Two-Tailed Spider

Also known as Tree-trunk spider have split tail so is the name. Shot with Nikon D500 and Nikkor 105mm lens.

Wild flower.

Blue Pimpernel or Flaxleaf Pimpernel. Aka Scarlet Pimpernel in other colour variations.
