Focus mode

Always shoot in manual mode and move the camera back and forth to focus.

Tripod or monopod

Use tripod or monopod for stability. Try holding your breath when subject is in focus and you are about to click.

Try focus stacking, buy a macro rail.

Focus stacking is a way to click multiple shots in a different focal plane on the subject and stack them together using photo stacking tool.

Subject

Start with a slow moving subject or an insect who is cooperative. Do not run around a subject and waste your energy.
