In developed countries re-training the staff is a norm, but Indian  IT companies could not understand its importance or most engagement were on time and money basis where the employees are working on client location in the technology used by the client, so they never felt this coming as to what will happen when the employees will come back or released from a particular project.  Middle level professional in particular find it difficult to survive in IT job market due to lack of knowledge in new technologies.
