Bird Sanctuary – Keoladeo national park

Keoladeo national park in Bharatpur, Rajasthan (India) is a UNESCO heritage site.

It is famous for the winter migratory birds.

The sanctuary was earlier used as the duck hunting ground for royals later converted to a bird sanctuary.

Many bird species are resident and various migratory arrive here in winter or during migration to other locations called passage migrant.
